What is the copyright situation on this cards?
The original Tarot cards used for illustrations on Thinking Tarot are based on the “Pamela-A” deck from sacred-texts.org. You can read all about the copyright situation with this deck, but the short version is that it is in the public domain. The changes made to the deck by us (adjusting the color, border, some touch-ups, and standardizing the numbers and font) are ours and we own the copyright to our final images. You are of course free to make your own deck from the original public domain images.
